“The Latte Chair is a stylish seating solution that is sustainably made from hemp fibers. The chair was designed by furniture firm Very Good & Proper in collaboration with Parisian designers Amandine Chhor and Aissa Logerot of AC/AL. The Latte Chair is made with Trifilon–a biocomposite material that combines recycled plastic with hemp. This durable material works both indoors and outdoors and offers the chair some understated texture.
The Latte Chair has a slatted shell which is supported by a tubular steel frame. The chair has two variants, one with arms and one without, and comes in three earthy tones: Brick Red, Gray Brown, and Natural. The Latte Chair works well in home environments, patio setups, and office settings.”
VG&P collaborates with leading architects, interior designers and furniture dealers around the world, and our products are also purchased directly by individuals and companies for their homes and businesses. Our signature pieces include the Canteen Table, the Hook & Knob, and the Utility Chair, all first launched at the London Design Festival in 2009.
Our design team is led by company director Ed Carpenter and design director André Klauser. They have been working together for over 12 years. We also commission designers for product ranges including Michael Marriott, Ian McIntyre, Felix de Pass and John Tree.
Designed in collaboration with the Paris-based design duo Amandine Chhor and Aissa Logerot of AC/AL, the Latte Chair is VG&P’s first venture into the outdoors.
The Latte Chair’s shell is made from Trifilon; an innovative, outdoor suited hemp and recycled plastic biocomposite which reduces the chair’s CO2 footprint drastically (around 85% less than a standard plastic chair). The hemp fibres that run through the seat not only give a subtle texture to the chair, but also add a lot of stiffness, strength and durability, making it well-suited to contract projects as well as your garden at home.
The Latte Chair is avalable in three warm natural tones; Brick Red, Grey Brown and Natural. The tubular steel frames are powder coated to match with an outdoor grade finish and are available with and without arms.
