The amazing list of fair trade, sustainable and ethical children’s brands is fairly long but we do have a few favorites that I would like to share with you today. I highly recommend saving these names for the future if needed. You can always search these brands in the many second-hand shops (digital and walk-in), as well as a bookmark to await the off-season sales that I love!
Hello Jackalo – The first time the kid’s Hello Jackalo pants arrived, I knew we found a keeper. These pants and coveralls are made from the EXACT same material as my military coveralls. What does this mean? Welp – as someone who wore flight suits and coveralls every day for 7 years, it means they LAST.
Patagonia – Patagonia has to be one of my all-time top favorite sustainable, ethical, and innovative brands out there. I cannot even begin to express how much I cherish every single Patagonia item in our home: both second-hand and new (on sale, but still new haha). While on the pricier side, the amount is absolutely worth every single penny. These products will last for years and years, and you can trust that your hard-earned money is going to one of the best companies out there.
Little Green Rascals – Back in 2005 Little Green Radicals began with the simple idea of making beautiful children’s clothing. But they believe, nothing is truly beautiful unless it is made the right way for all.
Because of this, all their clothes are made from organic and fairtrade cotton or recycled plastic bottles! Ensuring both the planet and people are looked after in the process!
Monty & Co Dungarees – I have been an Osh Kosh B’Gosh gal since as long as I can remember. This brand clothed me, my brother and all of our cousins and they were passed down from generation to gneration. It’s brands like Osh Kosh that parents looked out for: durable, super long-lasting and budget-friendly.
Petit Tembo – Hands down, the softest sweatshirts my children own. These organic, fair trade and highly durable sweatshirts (and tees!) are perfect for any child’s closet. The Petit Tembo sweatshirts run a bit wide, so they are perfect to last much longer than regular-sized clothing!
100% organic cotton + sustainable + ethically made.
